One day they're pulling for a "pull out" Last I checked, too many drafts causes an uncontrollable decline in upkeeping, thus; forcing you to pull out early. And just WHERE are those "Weapons of Mass Destruction" we went in there to find - the initial cause of the war? Most were bombed in their beds, several were tracked down and RPG'd as they hid under a table, a few were captured and one is actually on trial I hear. IF they'd have left Schwarzkoptf (sp?) finish the job, we probably wouldn't be there now. That is a prime example of our leaders handcuffing the military. If you're going to war - SHOW NO MERCY. Patton is probably rolling over in his grave at the mockery. The enemy plays by NO rules, so why the hell do WE? Yeah! Kill women! Rip babies apart with gut hooks! We're with ya brother. If the enemy is doing it, then is must be ok! Or wait... ? Could it be that savages fighting savages only ends with the last man standing? Uh, that doesn't work for me cuz I really would prefer to have someone to tell my war stories to later. Yeah man, with Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, N. Korea all bubbling to a boil, the **** could really hit the fan. A draft would have to bring in LOTS of people to deal with that. Christ, they'll have to re-enlist the veterans who've been out for a while - even those crippled by bombs, etc - to maintain equipment to their ability. They won't have time to train new people to do much more than shoot a gun. Yeah, you tell 'em. Since we are the only nation involved in this, we should really try harder, I think. rb Radio content: Quark matter usually travels in pairs or triplets unless they have a date, then they just stay home. |
