Default Need Yaesu FT-50 programming help...

I had a similar problem a few years ago. I don't remember if it was a
Win 98 or Win 2K problem. Do a google search, there is a parameter that
has to be changed in windows and then the software worked fine.

Well.. my radio has somehow had a fit. It seems it works fine, but
won't program with ADMS1D [ver 1.06].
The radio was modded for MARS/CAP, and has worked with the same
software for years.
Something happened on this last go-round... the write failed and
wouldn't complete, giving an immediate time-out error.
So I reinstalled the software, made a new template, reset the radio,
etc, and it does one thing only...
It will write only up to 60% and then gives a timeout error, no matter
what template or data file used.
Any ideas?
thanks and please reply to my email.

Hi, the ADMS software SUCKS for the FT-50!!! They should be ashamed of
themselves.

The same thing happened to me years ago. See if you can fine a program
called "EVE / YARD"
It is 2 programs usually found together. I used this on my FT-50 and
worked great!!! It did more than
the ADMS and did NOT need the damn template!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
