LOL...real ham....
Sorry dude, you're trolling up the wrong tree..... I'm just a simple RF enthusiast and have no desire to "be" a "ham". The FT is a valued test piece I use for many things; ham being quite low on the list. With this new ammo however; you might try an FCC type acceptance troll. I'd say that'll give you a better shot at getting a long thread. At any rate, a simple checksum correction on the offending rdf has solved the corruption problem. Thanks to those real techs offering real help. rb ----------- www.hamsexy.com .... an artistic display of "real hams" from across the world. ============ "A.E. 352" wrote in message ... Real hams DON'T need software/computers to program radios! Especially HT's. "Woody" wrote in message news:F7zXg.4218$e65.975@trnddc05... Well.. my radio has somehow had a fit. It seems it works fine, but won't program with ADMS1D [ver 1.06]. The radio was modded for MARS/CAP, and has worked with the same software for years. Something happened on this last go-round... the write failed and wouldn't complete, giving an immediate time-out error. So I reinstalled the software, made a new template, reset the radio, etc, and it does one thing only... It will write only up to 60% and then gives a timeout error, no matter what template or data file used. Any ideas? thanks and please reply to my email. rb |
