were bought at a hamfest
and the dealer told everyone that they are ok in the amateur band. I
have no intention of selling anything

I don't mean to blow the whistle, but they actually go looking for stuff
like that on the Internet. Probably not a problem between two hams that
don't go out of band, but put it out on the Internet, and no telling who
will find it.
