Default WTB: Kenwood TM-G707A

Wanted: Kenwood TM-G707A. I'm ready to buy immediately for a realistic
price. Most used ones I've seen listed seem to be a bit high,
considering that I can buy one brand new from the dealer for $25 with
shipping. Will use Paypal for immediate payment. Reply to N5DJL via the

Please let the rest of us know where we, too, can pick up that radio for
$25. I'd like to have a few more, myself!

Ooops. I obviously meant to type $265.

I figured you left a number out.... just didn't really know what the
number was. Your figure, $265, is the same price Gigaparts is selling
them ...... you may pay some shipping, but you get a warranty.

It's been my experience that used transceivers which are still in
production maintain a high percentage of their selling price, and then
only begin to fall after the model is discontinued. If you want a
current model, and the G707A is a nice radio, pay the few extra dollars
and get a new one,in the box, with a warranty. You sound like the type
of guy who wants to buy a top quality rig at bottom dollar, and I can't
fault you for it, but buying a low priced current model usually invites
problems from someone who mistreated it or powered it once from 240 volts.
