Couldn't tell you how it works because I've never seen it done. The company I
got them from swears that they'll do 132 channels, but all I've ever seen a top
display do is 48 myself! Maybe it's something with the buttons as zone
selectors or something - I haven't got a clue. Or maybe I just got bad info.
Wouldn't be the first time it happened. Anyway, anyone interested, they're
brand new radios!

Maybe they're counting the PL codes as separate channels...they 'have' PL,
right?

I have a model 1 (A4) and can program over a hundered channels into it, but
as everyone said I can only get to 48. I solved the problem by buying a
used full feature face (A7) and used lab for a conversion. Now it has 160
modes. Try that......
