Mark - did it ever occur to you that some of the people who are buying
and reselling may have lost their jobs in the past couple of years
thanks to greedy corporate America? I for one did and I know several
more in the same situation here in Phoenix and in a few other parts of
the country. I was 27 years with Motorola and than out the door. Thanks
to what you call "make a living out of buying these old rigs, then
jacking up the price by about 200% and re-selling", I have been able to
feed my family and not lose my house after being laid off two and a half
years ago. I'm a single parent with two teenagers and no child support.

You need to lighten up since you really don't know the circumstances.
Also not that this was sent directly, not to the newsgroup.

Happy boatanchoring. I'm also a National collector with over 20 5
National receivers which I did not have to sell to eat.

I'm not knocking what you said as far as selling, I tend to agree. What I
disagree with - not that it matters to me.. I'm merely pointing it out, is
this IS in the newsgroup. You may have hit "reply to all" or something..

The key words in there are "inappropriate" (selling/auctioning radio related
goods in this NG is not inappropriate) and "violates UseNet board policy"
(there is no policy in this particular NG against selling/auctioning radio
related goods).

I buy a lot of radio parts and older equipment off of Ebay only because
that's about the only place to fine it. Unfortunately its usually over
priced ( and no supply and demand lectures please..its about making money
and you guys know it ) and the condition is questionable. I have been burnt
several times. I applaud the fellows that still post on the newsgroups. I
myself hate to wade through all the FA's crap on here. When I come here its
to avoid Ebay.

This auction is for a pair (2) of muRata DFC3R915P025BTD filters which
are TARNISHED. These filters can be used to convert Motorola Maxtrac
radio models D37/47 900 MHz or the D35/45 800 MHz radios to the
902-927 MHz Amateur band. These filters are new and not used, JUST
TARNISHED.
The original factory filters in these radios will not accommodate the
902 Mhz Amateur Band. These muRata filters are the replacement for the
stock 936 or 860 filters and set the receiver passband to the 25 MHz
range between 902.5 and 927.5 MHz, for the Amateur band. To replace
the original filters, you will need to unsolder the old filters from
the RF board and replace them with these.

These filters are no longer being made by muRata. I purchased what I
believe is the last of these filters and got a better price from the
supplier. I am passing an even lower price onto you as well.

So, if you want to convert a Maxtrac and want the correct sensitivity
and out of band rejection, these are the filters you need.

This IS a photo of the Actual Filters. These filters are Clean, NOT
USED, but are TARNISHED. This because the filters have a silver
plating on the exposed end surface. Exposure to air will tarnish the
metal casing of the filter, but this has No effect on the Performance
Of The Filter. Silver cleaner can be used safely if you want.

Shipping will be $0.50 for the first pair of filters and $0.25 for
each additional pair to help with mailing supplies, mailing will be by
first class Mail. I will ship to Canada but, I may need to add an
additional charge. Thank you, for looking at this auction, and for
your time.

You are bidding on a Motorola UHF Spectra Model Number T84GXA7HA9AK.
This radio is NOT WORKING. It powers up but has a Fail 01/90. I dont
know what is wrong with it. But it also cannot be read with software
either and havent had the time to work on it. It was picked up in a
lot in a govt auction. I believe that it is a low split radio 403-430
because of where it came from. So due to the nature it is obviously
being sold AS-IS no warranty. The auction is for the radio only no
accessories. Shipping is $20 insured due to it is heavy. Please check
out my other aucions. Thanks for looking.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Fine print do to the people that have ruined it for the honest

All items has been pulled from service working but they have not been

item description carefully for specifics. I do not program any
equipment so please dont ask. Winning bidder must contact me within 24
hours of winning status and payment must be recieved within 3 days. I
accept PAYPAL only! All items shipped within 7 days after payement has
been received via UPS ground insured. Shipping costs listed in
auction. Bids from ebayers with sunglasses or negative feedback will
be rejected.(Sorry been cheated too many times now from deadbeat
bidders.) Deadbead bidders will not be tolerated. You will be
reported. Please ask any questions before bidding. With all that said,
GOOD LUCK!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just in case you missed it in the fine print I ACCEPT PAYPAL ONLY! No
other form of payment is accepted. These are the terms. If you bid/win
and can't/won't/refuse to pay this way. Negative feedback will be left

this has offended. But Im tired of people bidding on my items and not
reading the auction and refusing to pay. So I am making this clear as
possible. Thanks again.
