Default Deciding between radios, Owners Opinions requested

The Yaesu is the most bullet proof in terms of contesting and nearby
stations. But, most operators do not need that. If you like to get on the
vhf and uhf bands, the other two are a better choice. If you are interested
in 2 or 6 meter sideband, then these rigs make a lot of sense, since you
cannot get an inexpensive ssb rig for either band.

But, if you only get on fm, then the extra expense for the vhf bands may not
make sense.

QST had reviews on both.

And, cb is really dead.

73, Colin K7FM
