Digital modes are great - for someone who spells the words you understand the way you were taught to spell them. CW seems to work no matter what the accent or native tongue. But people don't want to learn digital modes either - it's just one of those things that sounds like a good argument until you actually look at it. How many hams can actually read a waterfall display for anything but PSK? And not that many can even do that. |
