SURE!

But, EMT is a 'soft' aluminum and will require guying and/or other support. It
is soft so electricians can bend it around corners.


EMT conduit is NOT made from aluminum but galvanized coated steel. It comes
in different sizes but they are not a tight fit from one size to the other.
It would possibly last 3 years if you are not too close to salt water.
