Default Rain Static ?

Actually, at the time I typed that, the thought rattled through my head
that I ought to set up a wind tunnel (ala the Wright Bros) and test to
see what the difference is between dry, charged wind and the same with
dust in it... Then the reality that there are only 29 hours in a day
popped up...
Had I followed my druthers I would have wound up a professor of
physics, or some such, at some minor university where I would have made
the doctoral candidates lives miserable by insisting that they do their
dissertation on such real world stuff instead of the meaningless trivia
that most dissertations I have read in recent decades represent...
Probably it is far better for them that I drifted off into the dark
side of the force, instead..

One wonders if only nitrogen and oxygen molecules
rubbing on copper can cause that effect.
