Default Rohn 25G question

"concentric" with the bottom of the next section and fit inside.
(you may already know all of this and may be describing something different)

The two pieces I have are not concentric and each
tapered part slants toward the middle at about 3
degrees rather than pointing straight out. The
slant is enough to cause the pieces not to fit
together.

Default Rohn 25G question

Sounds like a manufacturing defect - or they got tweaked somehow ...

Good luck - if you try to bend them to fit, you really should check for
cracks - including all of the bracing and connecting welds.

Nope, the bottom of the tapered section is the
specified 11.25". Somewhere between the beginning
and end of the 4" tapered section is where the
problem occurs. And two sections are virtually
identical which would seem to rule out any
accident.

Might be a Transistion Section, between Rohn 25 and 15.......

Don't know much about 15. Someone else suggested
that someone may have used three sections of
water pipe tied together at the top, for a top
section. I'll just have to bring them back in
spec before I try to install them again.

I have two 10' sections of 25G where the spacing
between posts is the specified 11.25" at the bottom
but is only 11" at the top. These sections will not
fit together. Does anyone know anything about 25G
sections with 11" spacing between the upper posts?
The 11" spacing is too precise to be an accident.

I have one laying on the ground and all the sections are 11.25 except for
one and I know it got warped.

You may have a 25T of 25TGIA tapered base.
These are 12.5 inches outside to outside on one and 12 inches on the other.

OK, I have a 5ft base and it is tapered too, not as much as the 10 ft
section, about half as much.
