I am glad to hear this, I was a bit discouraged by a post about reduced
perofrmance. i understand that going to 1/4 wave will giv eme reduced performance, but glad to hear you can still deal with the concrete jungle. I work in Columbia, SC We have a good bunch of repeaters in the City (Even an IRLP!) You folks have been very helpful. (Why did I wait so long to ask?) sheesh. Bruce "Scott Vanzandt" wrote in message ... I use a diamond NR72BNMO aboutt 14" or so. I get great results and it is very low profile. I live around Memphis, TN, and I work on the other side of town from our repeater and consistantly get in on low power. Gain is only about 2.1 on 2M and 70CM, but does me well. Your other choice is to mount the antenna on a bumper, and live with reduced performance... - Mike KI6PR El Rancho R.F., CA "Bruce D. Does anyone have a recomendation on an alternate 2 meter antennae? Bruce Meyer www.kg4tac.net |
