Some years back, I went to a welding shop and asked them to weld a steel strap to the car for an antenna mount. They found a spot on the left rear where the strap would stick out and hold a mobile antenna. The shop rounded the edges on the part of the strap sticking out, and drilled a hole in the strap for the insulated whip connector. It worked out great. --Wayne W5GIE i've been giving that some thought. may talk to my mechanic to see if he can recommend a spot... |
