I don't own a R7000 but there are many user reviews of this particular
antenna on www.eham.com. It appears from the reviews that the traps
may be the problem. Possibly, water is getting into one or more of the
traps.

Hi,
When it rains the ROS of my Cushcraft R7000 rises (10:1) on all bands. It
is about 1.5:1 when dry.
Has anyone an idea?
TNX in advance.
