Don't worry about Jerry. He is always like that. Once he takes a
position he will defend it to the bitter end no matter how much you
prove him wrong.

Oh, I've spent enough time here that I know about Jerry. He's free to speak

Yes, it seems many of the nym'd trolls hate me.

And it doesn't bother me a bit. I understand why you use 'nyms - I
wouldn't want anyone to know how stoopid I was if I were you, either.

Hi, Jerry. Nice to hear from you again. I can't tell if your problem is
reading comprehension or memory. It could be a little of each.

See, whenever I'm active here, I put my callsign after my "nym," as you call
it, about once a week. Earlier this year, you observed the discrepancy
between my callsign and the name "Sal" so you went on a rant. You forgot
about that, didn't you? Yeah.

I doubt anybody hates you. For me, it's more a matter of not liking much
that you post because it's so often argumentative and mean-spirited. (In
debate, your cutting personal remarks are called ad-hominem attack.)

Jerry, I want you to live a long, happy life. Too bad you're not off to a
very good start.

Sal, I'm off to a great start. I'm past the age where I give a damn
what you or any other troll thinks about me. Life is too short to worry
about such crap.

Sure, you put a callsign after your name. But you don't use your real
name or a real (even if it is slightly munged like mine is) as your
email address. You're just a troll, like some others here.

So have a good life. I've had a long and happy one, and continue to do so.

I think that sums it up pretty well. I don't have any reason to "hate"
Jerry. I just feel his posts are, as you say, mean spirited. Heck he
goes out of his way to find dirt on me which is so stupid I don't have
words for it. This is the Internet. None of this matters one whit.

BTW Jerry, have you found my degrees yet?

No, Rick. UMD has no record of them. I wonder why?

And no, I don't "go out of my way to find dirt on you". All I do is
call you on your stoopidity - which you show so readily.

Jerry, you make me laugh. I guess I should be grateful for that.

BTW, I figured you were full of it. I went to the UMD web site and I
don't see any way you can access that info without having enough details
on me to verify who exactly I am... which I'm sure you don't have. So
of course you can't find proof that I graduated UMD.

I don't need to go to the UMD website. The campus is about 10 miles
from me. I can easily go to the registrar's office to see exactly who
graduated in any year. And do you know how many people graduated with
an MSEE in 1982? I'll give you a hint - you were NOT one of them. Even
the yearbook (available in the campus library) shows graduates for each
year.

Additionally, as a local business owner, it's very easy for me to get
the public records of graduates - not that I needed to use that option.

However - I know you aren't a ham, or you wouldn't picked a campus as
close to me as you did, hoping I wouldn't be able to check it out. And
I know you don't have an MSEE from the pure bull**** you've posted in
this newsgroup.

You've been caught, rickman. And your lies won't get you out of it.
