Individual piece drawings and measurements are presented for novice builders. The "Antenna Book" Maritime Antenna is "Super" because it is a collinear using (2) 1/2-wave sections, in phase, and end to end. For a simple J-pole, eliminate one 1/2-wave section and the 1/4-wave phase-inverting stub. Stainless steel is used fotr the "Super J-pole", but rustable steel can be used if deesired. I would like to see that stainless stell version. What size tubing does
it use? What is a "super" j pole? I would like that book but am a little strapped right now. (One reason I am using conduit). We just had our second child born January 2! Maybe I can get it at the Library? |

Do you think my construction would be ok? WIll supporting the antenna
by the crossbar cause any problem? |
