Yea, as other note, 7 bills is a bit high...It would have to be super
pristine, and very low miles to consider paying that much. I mean totally mint. Not a scratch on it....It is a good radio, but the average going rate these days is 300-500 ?? bucks...And 500 would be on the higher end...For $700, I could get a fresher 746, etc....I've seen used 706mk2g's going for less than that...Also, be aware that some parts may now be unavailable for the 735. I have a nice IC-730 collecting dust cuz I can't find the part I need to fix it...The 735 is a later version of the 730...Icom considers those radios ancient history when it comes to parts...Heck, they don't even sell the finals for 706's any more, as the final transister is no longer made..You have to buy the whole PA board for 400+ bucks....With the old style transisters... ![]() Needless to say, I baby the finals in my 706mk2g....MK |
