Also, What about using one of the 60 Kcs IF transformer for the T28
BFO coil? Possibly use one winding as the 60 Kcs BFO oscillator coil? Anyone have any ideas or possibly tried this ?? All you need to do is get enough inductance to resonate on 60 kHz, then tap it for feedback (I assume it is using a tap). I used to use old coils out of tv sets to get down there. Get the amidon info on their website and wind your own on a toroid, You could even use a coil out of a low frequency (85 kHz) ARC-5 - the 190 to 550 kHz version. You can often find those butchered.
