Default Differences between Hammarlund 170 and 180

I think the HQ-170 is an HQ-110 plus the HC-10 tunable if. The HQ-180 came
out later and I suspect had overall improvements and may have been designed
more from the ground up.

The HQ-170 plays like a $200 radio with a great tunable if. The HQ-180
plays like a $400 radio.

But, these are just my opinion - totally subjective. Hope I do not hurt any
HQ-170 fans' feelings.

73, Colin K7FM
