Thank you for the feedback. Yes, I know the difference btwn impedance and
resistance, but just felt extra data always helps. I will now assume that the
spkr transformer is the original and has a 5K input impedance as originally
designed. I would appreciate it if someone who has one of these looks through
the grill bars with a flashlight and tells me the grill cloth color so I know
if mine is stock (creme colored). Actually, I think black would look better,
