Default SCR-59 Info?

Someone recently asked me about a piece of old radio gear quoting the number
SCR-59.
They also mentioned a 1915 date! Which may indicate it is from W.W. One?
Any suggestions about a source of information for such an item. My access to
"Military Equipment List" starts at SCR113A.
Any advice welcomed. TIA.
Terry.
PS. A few miles from where in 1901 Marconi received the first Transatlantic
wirelss telegraph signal.
