This a 2 to 30MHz receiver................there is no RF preselection below
2MHz.

transformer.. If that is the case, it can usually be rewound and
repaired. You might test it by connecting an antenna through a 200 pf
or so capacitor between ant and RF amp grid pin..If it receives ok then
