Default Nighttime AM broadcast band IBOC approved by FCC

Say goodbye to night DXing on the AM-BC band. Many of the 50kW clears are transmitting IBOC during
day hours now. The digital 'splatter' covers 20KHz on either side of the main frequency. This will
happen at night soon. Forget about listening to 830 AM and 850 AM at night, both 50 KW clears. WCCO
is using IBOC, not sure of KOA. This and power companies tagging data on their lines doesn't look
good for a once, fun, and inexpensive hobby.
