So, some of you (many of you?) may be wondering what happened to the mailing
list and newsgroup.

A lot has happened over the past few weeks; things that made it impossible
for me to do anything at all with RRB/Airwaves.

So, here's what has been done:

** The mailing list is on my server now, running under Mailman. Mailman has
a mail-to-news gateway feature so I can use it to moderate the mailing list
and post approved stuff to the newsgroup at the same time.

** I had been using John Levine's NNTP server at IECC.COM (thanks, John), and
he had been hosting the mailing list. I'm doing it all centrally now, with
Usenet postings being pushed through news.justthe.net aka news.glorb.com.

** I now can take advantage of Mailman's whitelisting features. Those of you
who are regular posters will be added to the whitelist as I see posts come in
from you. I'll go ahead and add them if I recognize the email addresses; that
way, posts from you will automagically be pushed through to the mailing list
and newsgroup. I can auto-approve you even if you are not subscribed to the
mailing list. If you would like me to put you on the auto-approve list, you
are also welcome to email me at .

** Mailing list management is available at

http://lists.JustThe.net/

for those people that prefer to manage their subscription over the web. Via
email - send mail to

to subscribe or unsubscribe, respectively. Posting through the newsgroup is
also an option, and you don't have to subscribe to the mailing list to
successfully post to the newsgroup.

If subscribed to the email list, you can set several personal options
via the website, including the option to receive individual messages
or digests.

Regarding Airwaves.com: I have to get in touch with Val Davis. It appears
that the domain registration might have expired. Looks like Air Waves Heating
and Cooling grabbed it. So, for now, the website is offline. I'll see what I
can do to rectify that.

I have saved some mailing list posts that I was not able to post over the
past few weeks, and they will be pushed through as soon as I can push them.

Thanks,
Steve

The changes sound good.
