Default Is LPFM dead?

I was trying to reach FCC regarding next filing window, but was not
reach anyone in the appropriate department. I got an automated reply
on my email saying that someone will get back to me within 20 days.
Alas, it's been couple of months already and I do not keep my hopes
high.

All searches on the web return posts pointing to the previous filing
windows, which was nearly two years ago. Since all the windows are
less then a week each and are announced about a month in advance (with
couple of years pauses), does it mean the Government just want it to
die quietly?

Any light shed on the issue will be highly appreciated.

Thanks.
