Can someone tell me what the deal is with WNWN 98.5 broadcasting on 95.5

well as it's regular frequency?

It's called a translator. W238AL to be exact.

So what's the deal? Is it my radios or are they going to put a new

station
in the 95.5 spot?

They can't. W238AL can only rebroadcast a full power station. In this
case, it gives a better signal to the Kalamazoo area than the 98.5 main
station.

Is this, perhaps, to preempt the possibility of a LPFM?
