It will show people who are interested in being a presenter, producer or technician how to plan a programme, use recording equipment and broadcast live across the Forest. An advanced one-day course in radio skills will teach how to edit effectively, brush up presenting skills, make a better promo and improve production and research. The advanced course will be held in Coleford tomorrow, in Lydney/Sedbury on Saturday, February 26, Newent on Saturday, March 26, and Cinderford on Saturday, June 11, from 10am to 3pm. Another course, called Cool Edit, will teach how to edit and manipulate sound on computer, using professional software at Lydney/Sedbury on Saturday, April 23, from 10am to 1pm and Newent on Saturday, May 21, at the same time. For those interested in writing for the radio, there are three-week beginners' courses at Coleford and at another venue yet to be confirmed.
