Can we assume that the UHaul will be traveling from KC, going west to
CA? If so, at what speed? Will the Focus be traveling also? If so, in
what direction and at what speed? The $19.99 is a number that really
has no significance. To answer your question as stated, yes, they will
work (assuming they have batteries). Will they contact each other?
Well, that is a very long distance, and from what I understand,
antenna height is all important. I think the question that needs to
asked is how far apart they will be when they are first able to make
contact? There are too many variables involved to answer that one. Why
couldn't you just ask where the two will meet? Damn, I hate word
problems!
