how many cb channels are there?
hi, i'm new to CB radio... How many channels are there? It looks as if
there are 40 channels, but i see some cb radios advertised that can go to ch.80... what gives? Any website i visit says the legal frequency range is from 26.965 to 27.405 MHz, and ch 40 IS 27.405 so it doesn't make sense to have another 40 channels present. Help meeee! - moistrous |

Help meeee! - moistrous Get off the cb radio son they went out in th 70's the rest that are left look at this newsgroup, they are all one eyed gentic mutants, too much RF too the brain . sell your radios and get a girlfriend. Please don't listen to this blowhard, he answers every post with multiple names. Buy an HF rig and open it to 11 meters. Sounds delicious. Now if only i knew what that meant... I just bought a CB for fun so i can talk with my friends. Not having grown up in the CB-happy era, it makes me sad to see such a cool technology not being used. I wish everybody used them again. I missed all the cool times, like before the WWW existed and when it was cool to rollerblade and carry boomboxes. |
