If you know anything at all about legitimate radio antenna theory then
the following CB antenna is worth a chuckle. I don't know if this guy
is clueless or just dishonest, but which ever it is you definitly do
not want him repairing your CB radio.

Might make a decent 440 yagi tho.

Throw a tuner on that little guy and it might tune broadband,
and it could be portable. Too much fun for one keyclown rolling
down the highway, should be a law against it.

It looks like a keyclowns two meter portable beam to me. Perfect
for jamming repeaters like dogie does. Only difference is the
key-clowns will have their knees in the breeze, and dogie will
be drowning in his own low power swill.

That shows how much you know Steveo, a quick search of this NG will
reveal a guy named Brass who was peddlin these star gun CB antennas.

Umm, did you see how small they are after trimming the vertical
to the happy medium?

After all the assholes have their ****ing contest to see who can make the
most inane comment about the Star Gun, This is the bottom

Since he top-posted, I'll do the same. They work only in the mind of the
fool who buys one.

by. and how do i know....i have one.....and have tried it and now it
is in the garage in the museum of wasted money projects......and no
one i have ever talked to has got one to work correctly.

Gee, that type thing can apply to almost any product on the market,,,the
hype is always above and beyond what a device is capable of....no
matter, though...folks that throw stones while living in glass houses
and talk smack about others being dishonest is just about what many have
come to expect from this forum of angry degenerates that were forced
underground.

I swear that first antenna looks like a real

tunable widow maker for certain vhf

frequencies, and directional. Shorten the

vertical till it's close enuff to transmit.

Look at it again. I'll turn it with the vice grips

while you talk.

My alternator is only 170 amps so don't be

long winded!

Toss a second one in line,,,,maybe a Leece (you know, for back up) g?

LOL..what a backfire! Why did you prefer to call it a cb antenna? Prhaps
because,,,you know no better? Grab a book, perhaps an ARRL antenna
guide,,,and learn all you can about tuners. It will prevent you from
embarassing yourself to no end.
