You can rent either machine.

Thanks. May be I will hire a high school kid for $20
this spring and have him do what you suggest.

here on long island one would stop by the 7-11 in farmingville and hire
a non-taxpaying illegal for $80-100/day. no prejudice just a fact.

Geez - in Georgia the Guatamalans only get $40/day. Someone should bring
them to Long Island and make a killing.

dead grass that accumulates... it suffocates the roots of the
healthy grass. how did that sound steve?

Off topic? ;-)

Actually it's not all dead grass, much of it is part of the living
plant and a small layer helps protect the soil from the sun and
weed infestation.

hows this, when sinking a ground rod you have to pass through a build
up of thatch which is part of the natural evolution of grass... covered
it
i guess (no pun intended)

I like it! If you load up your thatch layer, is it considered ground
wave?

this is getting bad hehehe ok (sorry brits) if a woman was dethatching a
lawn would you call her margaret thatcher?

He'll be here all week folks..don't forget to tip your waitress.

That's already going on in Ohio with Mexicans.

Mexicans do not work, though. They are just Negroes without access to
NAACP lawyers and Affirmative Blaction.

Heh, these Mexicans are digging machines when it comes to irrigation
installation or plant material harvest. They out work whitey big time.

I wouldn't trust him with a de-thatch machine, you can really
destroy your lawn if not done correctly. If you have an irrigation
system, don't forget to mark your heads with flags first. Either
machine will crush them.

leaving dead patches in your yard

It leaves skeletons, none in that pic. (crabgrass is an annual)
