lager and New Castle is a soapy, generic brown ale. Try some other
examples of either style.

Been to that site, very good info. Taste of beer varies on
individual, so have you ever had Anchor Steam? Celebration
Ale? Liberty Ale?

I have had Anchor Steam, bit it is hard to come by in the upper
midwest. I thought it was unique for sure, but it was not even close
to the best beer I have had. Well, in my opinion That said, I would
buy another 6 pack the next time I ran across some.

I personally like Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Costal Fog Ale is a
close second. The best beer I had was while traveling Europe,
in Germany of course (I was there during October Fest 1989).
I actually has some pretty good beers in Italy too, mostly
Lagers to which I'm fond of too.
