Remote-control switched tuning from 30 to 75 MHz. It won't tune down to 27 MHz, but it could be modified to do so with a few component changes. Probably not very efficient? Might make a better 6 meter antenna? Just speculating. Actually, the length isn't too far away from 27 MHz if the matching unit is bypassed. It still requires matching but not much. The remote control would be too much of a pain to wire for a CB, so I would just rip out the guts and put in a simple L-pad and SWR coupler. ----== Posted via Newsfeeds.Com - Unlimited-Uncensored-Secure Usenet News==---- http://www.newsfeeds.com The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! 100,000 Newsgroups ---= East/West-Coast Server Farms - Total Privacy via Encryption =--- |
