RCA's 'Radio Central' xmitters went on-line 1921 here on Long Island. I
remember them taking the last 410' tower down in '77. The buildings
still stand but are not used for anything. At 5200 acres it is the
largest undisturbed plot of land on the island.

mopeys great great granpa was on that station illegally, soliciting
mule drivers, back before there were big trucks. His family business
has a proud tradition.

Yep, kdl-6824, Lafayette tuber of some sort and a droopy drawers..used
to have to search for someone to talk. No one knew what the hell a CB
was when I first got mine, that was 30 some years ago. :^O
