Awful, isn't it? Dang, I had just seen a horrible gunfight. I had the jpg,
but sent it to Mopar as I couldn't handle it. It was interesting. You can
ask Mopar for the thing or I can ask him to send it back so I can send it to
you, but it was really horrific. Not something to show to women.

Jim:

Geesh...

And I was disappointed when I considered the fact we had to pass on
the bottle cheap muscatel!

My limit is to split on Red Ripple for wine or 3 feathers for whiskey.

Mix the Ripple with 7-up and presto, you have champipple! Unfortunately, I
can't afford the 7-up.

Generally, I order bread and water as long as they don't charge

Actually, the guy who tried and failed was a

known troublemaker and was a class A

operator.

Whoda thunk it?

This was back in the 60s and he had
an advanced ticket that may have no longer

been issued. They did have extra classes

then, but no one paid attention to it. Once you

had the general, you had everything.

When they were going to implement "incentive
licensing", I went for my extra and, as long as I
had to be at the FCC, I obtained my telegraph

ticket too.

Not a big deal about cw. If one likes it, great; if
not, so be it. But it is so much fun to get into

these threads ))

Love it! It's like those who can't figure out how one can enjoy two
hobbies (cb and hammie) at the same time, instead of getting frustrated
with others who -can- walk and chew gum.

I love the way you say something in a nice

way that gets some folks panties all knotted

up - then you go fishing for a weekend (or a

week) whilst the group flames away.

Dang, I've gotta buy some stock in blood

pressure medication when you send some

notes. It is funny. Just like Mike got so hot

about me enjoying communicating, some folks
just can't stand the fact that you remain in the

newsgroup.

It's the fun factor, man! Those who are obviously having a blast and
loving life are easy targets for those who aren't. It's all about envy.

All together now, "AKC does *not* own

anything".

Hey, how's the price of gas down in your neck

of the woods?

2.29 reg unleaded today. Damn diesel is setting records, though.

Has Bush gotten it back down to $1.25 per

gallon? Or have the "red" states suffered

along with the "blue"?

Some of them red states are howling, like SC. I gotta give them credit
in SC, though. I think they may have been the first state to realize
what an error they made.

I was wrong about Bush in one respect. It

irritated me that the only plane allowed to fly

out of this country immediately after 911 was

relatives of Bin Laden. I *almost* thought the

way Farenheit 911 was portraying it, but then

managed to think.

You ever notice people talk about how fat or something Moore is, but
never, NEVER attack a single point he made? Like, are they saying the
Bin Laden's really didn't leave the country right after 911 with a
government escort when ALL other flights were grounded?
Or the Saudi's really DON'T own up to 900 BILLION worth of America and
really DIDN'T invest heavily in ALL the Bush private ventures before he
became President? Or that Bush really didn't have lunch with the Saudi
Ambassador on the 13th of Sept, 2001? WTF,,,wasn't it the Saudis that
attacked us? Why, yes,,yes it was. 10 of the hijackers were Saudi (did
Moore even make that point?) .
Perhaps there is one Moore basher among us who maintains Cheney's
private companies DIDN'T benefit or profit from invading Iraq?
Or that Intel WASN'T crafted from policy?
And perhaps there is even one of those Bush-backers reading this that
believe since Bush mentioned "911" and "Iraq" in the same sentence no
less than 400 times over the past three years, there is truth by
repetition.

If you or I were president at that time and we

imported 80% of all our oil and Saudi Arabia

supplied most of the oil .... what would we do?
Most likely just what Bush did. They have us

by the unmentionables.

We've got them right where they want us.

Better give more tax breaks on the SUVs.

Better include yachts over 33 meters in length

too.

Sure,,,and here's a poor man's way of doing what the rich man is doing.
Buy the object of your desire and put it ALL on credit. Even if you make
the MINIMUM payment due, a portion of it is deductible. Of course, the
more you pay for it, the more you write off. Oh yea, don't forget to put
it in your "company's" name for it all. What's that? Don't have a
company? Sure you do. You were in the miitary, right? You are now a
"Consultant". Take out an ad and reap the fun. You don't even need show
a profit. Enjoy it. It's not like YOU have to pay for it when the bill
comes in. Take a loss on your "business" and do what the current admin
is doing...make the next three/twenty generations pay for it. Enjoy.

What, me worry?

Yeah, I heard that. Senator Clinton should try

and fix New York. I've news for ya. We've a

*republican* governor and Clinton was elected
to represent us in Washington, not in New

York. There is a New York Senate. She in not

in the NY Senate. She is a New York

Congressman (uh, person?) in *Washington*.

Of course, facts never bother the religious

right.

Don't confuse me with facts LOL.

Excuse me whilst I get a second beer. I limit

myself to 3 beers per day, maximum.

Doctors says a warm beer is good for kidney stones.

I have to shut down as those dang quarter

kegs are a pain to move around in the house

))
