Need Phantom Schematic
I'm sure it's the 'older version' It has a 12AQ5 for the first stage. The 12AQ5 if I remember correctly is for the keying circuit, not for amplification. Triple stage refers to three power modes. Four tubes driving eight, Eight tubes only, or all 12 tubes at once. |

Yep,
The 12AQ5 is the keyer. Figured that one out last night. I'm slowly figureing out this thing a little bit at a time. My first amplifier repair so gonna take it nice and easy. Looks like the HV relay is the only prob at this point. My Realistic toob checker doesn't check the sweep toobs. Probably just as well to leave em alone. regards, Bob N9NEO |
