I am interested in Packet radio and have had a good look around the WEB for
info. The more I look the more confused I get!

I would like to hook up my Yaesu VX-5 handie to the PC load up some software
and work Packet.

Sounds simple but what do I need? A TNC obviously but where from? Which one
to go for? What software?

Many years ago (Just renewed my licence after many years) I built a TNC,
cost was minimul and I simply plugged this
into the PC serial port. Are such kits available now?
