JAPAN: New frequency allocations in the 80m band:
-------------------------------------------------
As of now Japanese HAMs may also use following band segments in the 80m band
3599-3612 kHz; 3680-3687 kHz; 3702-3716 kHz; 3745-3747 kHz, 3754-3770 kHz.
The resulting 80m band plan for our Japanese colleagues is:
3500 - 3575 kHz; 3599 - 3612 kHz;
3680 - 3687 kHz; 3702 - 3716 kHz;
3745 - 3770 kHz; 3791 - 3805 kHz.

8R1WD is in the best of health:
-------------------------------
Helmut,DK8NC, diagrees with the statement in DXNL 1568 that Peter,8R1WD, has
become a "silent key"! Peter has written an e-mail to Helmut stating that it
is good to know to stay with the living again.

We regret any false reports and express our excuses to copy a statement from
another bulletin. Meanwhile this bulletin writes that not 8R1WD has passed
away but 8R1J. We wish Peter that the saying becomes true: There's life in
the old dog yet.

Callbook CD-ROM Summer edition 2008:
------------------------------------
The summer edition 2008 is expected to come out by the end of May.

at the usual conditions (including shipment outside DL: 40 Euro).

Many thanks for contributing to this issue of the DXNL are going to:
