Default Serbian postage rates

Hi folks,

Can anyone in this group advise what the current postal letter rate is
between Serbia and Montenegro and the United States or Canada?

Normally I send SASE/mint stamps, but when I called Bill Plum he said
that because of a three-fold increase in postage rates in that country
he no longer carries them. The one set he sent me was six 0,5 Euro
stamps, or, in other words, 3 Euro. If so (about $4 US), that would be
the most expensive letter rate on Earth.

Luckily, I finally managed to get a card back (I think I put $3 in one
envelope). However, after working another new one on 80 (Z32AV), I
saw, to my dismay, that the QSL route is via YU7AV, so here we go
again!
