I know how to use a mouse.

But it's a distraction that a good logging program shouldn't need. I want to be
able to log without looking at the screen (to see where to click) or take my
hands off the keyboard.

Hence my REQUIREMENT for a keyboard centric software design.

Certainly a requirement for contesting. If God had wanted us to use a
computer mouse, He would have given us three hands (or four so we could
operate a paddle for CW as well).
