I was going by the simple list.
 http://www.arrl.org/awards/dxcc/itucalls.html I don't think it will work that way. Take a look here for the country list: http://www.arrl.org/awards/dxcc/list_g.html Even this is not complete, because there are also new prefixes MX, MT, MN, MH, MS, MP and MC which are equivalent to GX, GT, GN, GH, GS, GP and GC. The VK and VP series are even more complicated. VK9 can be any of 6 different countries ... none of which is Australia.
