One hundred watts is the most power I'll be running. I will check
out the other Motorola cable you mention, thanks.


I didn't see the power rating of that cable you described, but it
sounded like RG-188 type also. I suggest you go to:

http://www.belden.com and check the catalog for 50 ohm transmission
line. There were several Teflon jacketed cables there that I think would
be a better choice. Or stop by a two way radio dealer and ask about the
Motorola white Teflon jacketed cable they should be aware of. Perhaps
they might have an extra un-used length for you?
