Don't know about Ramsey but do a search for North Coutry Radio, good
quality and run and owned by a ham. Ghost Writer wrote: Have had some good luck with those I bought. I can't say the same for a friend of mine. He bought a receiver kit. He put it together and it didn't work. He brought it to me and I checked all his work. It was fine. I did some testing. The thing was deaf. We even took it to yet a 3rd party for their opinion. They are probably good kits for a yongster, to get them interested in radio, or find out how interested they are. But I won't buy any more of them for serious use. Bob McConnell N2SPP |
