Default FT1000D extended TX

Hello,

I own a Yaesu FT1000D with firmware 6.00 and want to do the mod extended TX
but i do not succeed yet.
I followed the mod on mods.dk but no succes.
I saw the jumper 3 soldered already but do i've to remove the jumper ?
Is there another URL for info ?

Kind regards

Yes. The solder ball is the jumper. Remove it. The tranciever still
lights the GEN light when out of it's programmed bands, but will transmit.
Be careful.

Or do I have it backwards and you need to add a solder ball? Damn, I
forget which way it was. In any case reverse it. If the pads are
connected remove the solder ball, if not connected then add one.

I removed the jumper and it's now fullrange TX.
In the schematic diagram is JP3 open ..... mistake of Yaesu ?
Thanks Marco for the info.
