Does the CT-17 need a null modem cable between it and the computer? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Burch No a standard cable should work fine. Make sure the CT-17 is powered with a 12 volt supply, the CT-17 used Pins 1-8 and 20 on the serial cable. Also the connecting cable to the radio should be a mono connection. I have used a 9 pin to 25 pin cable or a adaptor with my CT-17. Gary K8IZ Washington State Resident Registered Linux User # 312991 |
