I'm not going to give up $420+ that easy, sorry. Overweight is BS, the "clams" at ford were definatly lying to you. They are idiots to tell you that. Agreed. 100%. But, you could have found the rattle yourself with some friends too Not that hard. I did have a few friends look at it - they found the source (can't recall exactly what it was) but it was something that would involve quite a bit of labor to fix. Radios do nothing to warrenty, Fords have been the choice for Cop cars for a long time. Well, remember - when a police agency buys a car, they pay more for the car and warranty. You were screwed by local dealer, go to corperate, keep complaining you could get some $$ back, but you may have to have a lawyer write the letters for you, for Ford to take it seriously, and that will cost over $400. Live and learn. I have gone to Ford Corporate. Useless. I'm now going to the Bureau of Automotive Repairs. Next will be 7 on your side. -- To reply, remove TheObvious from my e-mail address. |
