Got kind of dumb question? Prior to the starting your rant (all caps) you
stated you had got rid of the Subaru and bought a dodge ram and have had not problems with GM. When did gm start making dodges? "Mike 4Tools" wrote in message roups.com... "Evan Platt" wrote in message ... I'm not a ARRL member, but if the ARRL would help out, I'd gladly join. This is $420 of MY MONEY I consider Ford and Budco have stolen. Needless to say, I will NEVER own another Ford in my lifetime. Thanks. Evan I experienced a similar issue with my new 2002 Subaru Outback. I'm a volunteer FF and as soon as Subaru fould out about it via the dealer service records they claimed that my Subaru was in "Police/Fire/Public Safety" service and revoked my extended warranty plan, and attached a statement to my VIN record station that because I had installed "VHF/UHF transmitting equipment" in my Subaru, all of my vehicle electronics were no longer covered inder warranty. Nedless to say, I sold the Subaru for a Dodge Ram and have had no problems with GM. SUBARU CUSTOMER SERVICE ARE TWO-FACED LYING S.O.B's WHO ACT LIKE THEIR CAR PRODUCTS ARE THE BEST THING ON EARTH. PHOOEY ON THEM AND THEIR LYING CAR AD'S ON TV !! TO HELL WITH THEM AND THEIR CRAP LL BEAN OUTBACK THAT I OWNED. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN AND IF YOUR A HAM AND ARE CONSIDERING BUYING A SUBARU....DON'T DO IT!!! THEY ( MEANING BOTH THE DEALER AND THEIR CORPORATE OFFICE) WILL SCREW YOU OVER 2 WAYS INTO NEXT WEEK ! DON'T BUY SUBARU. THEY LIE AND THEY BUILD GARBAGE. --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
