Not being a technical type, Im hoping for some guidance on an issue thats
cropped up with my FT840. I purchased this little rig off QRZ last summer,
in near mint physical condition and supposedly barely used, without the FM
board. I really like it, especially the receive audio which is wonderful.
Worked fine on all bands and modes initially, but now is having issues on
10m and 12m only at this time. These issues were intermittent at first,
but are now almost continual. Issues on...

Hello,



I have an old TAD MD-150. Wondering if anyone know anything about this
radio. It is VHF and I can program it fine (from the front panel). I talked
to a local radio shop who found a tone card for me but had no ideas on my
problem. The radio works fine on commercial frequencies but if I program
any other frequency (144.39 say) the radio just does a single beep at me
when the PTT is pushed. The RX works fine on the lower frequencies but no
TX. It is a bit strange because the LCD dims...

Im looking for either an original service manual or just schematics with
voltage test points specifically for an FT 900. The ones on the internet
are not readable. Id be happy to buy these or a high resolution copy of
the originals.
