Default Tech Tech Plus or vice versa?

This means that Techs now have Tech+ privileges, not vice versa right?

But it doesn't go into effect until 30 days after being published in the
Federal Register. So it will be more a month yet.

Think about it. If you were a tech plus, and you passed your cw test, and
you were operating
every day practicing cw on 40 meters, do you think the FCC is going to
tell you that you are now a tech and can't operate below 10 meters?

Hummm.... come to think of it that is essentially what happened in the
60's isn't it, with "incentive licensing."

But these days the tendency is for the FCC to give more priviledges, not
take them away once they were earned.
